I am thrilled for Alternative Fashion Week every year in Toronto! I volunteered at this event two years ago and loved it, wishing I was a guest rather than a volunteer. This year, a couple of friends and I are attending April 27th's "FUTUREscapes," which looks like a very modern line resembling mission impossible-like charms to me. The difference between Alternative Fashion Week and Fashion Week in Toronto is that this one does not require you to sit down for only seven minutes, watch the models scurry down the runway and then leave the premises immediately! This show is different because it is a process of a few hours and includes not only fashion shows but exquisite photography, art and film exhibits as well as mingling with a glass of red (which let's face it, we all love)! In conclusion, sweet anticipation!
